We’ve been working with SMP for many years, with mainstream advertising in television and radio.

I saw the online market for promotion was the way we should step forward and decided to use SMP because I was very happy with their traditional advertising.

Over the last 12 months we have used digital marketing through our website, LinkedIn Facebook and some other means.

The monthly meetings help us to fine tune all our general advertising and digital advertising which is changed on a monthly basis.

We have found the digital market manager at SMP is good at targeting our advertising at different demographics to suit the various products we promote. It is so much easier to be dealing with one business for all of our advertising requirements.

Porters are proud to have partnered with Strategic Media Partners for a number of years and the team have assisted us with our media planning and buying.

With the vast changes in the digital landscape, we understood that it was important to invest in digital channels such as Google search and banner network, email marketing, website optimisation and social media. We understand the power of these digital networks however with changing demands and resources, we lacked time in managing some of these channels.

We wanted to improve our overall digital strategy and wanted expert assistance with PPC, search and banner ads, email marketing and website optimisation, so we sought SMPs assistance.

The team have provided comprehensive digital marketing reports, and we catch up frequently to discuss actions moving forward and the results we have achieved.

We got SMP involved so they could help us develop a strategic plan for our digital marketing channels that would allow us to communicate more effectively across platforms that we hadn’t yet had much exposure to, like Google Network, email marketing and SEO practices for our website.

We were already running mainstream marketing activities well and wanted to expand to a more comprehensive strategy, because we understand that ‘digital’ encompasses more than just our website and Facebook page.

We’ve partnered with SMP to maximise the results we can achieve across all available channels.

The digital strategy that SMP have created is tailored to our business, industry and the existing work that the team at GNJ put into existing marketing efforts.

SMP were able to take our existing message and get it seen by more people.

Using our existing database, SMP worked with us to create a client retention strategy through the implementation of a loyalty program; this allows us to contact existing customers at relevant times, with offers tailored specifically for them.

SMP also assisted with social media (Facebook), SEO for the website to help people find us on Google, advertising using the banner (non-search) network, regular email marketing for birthdays and anniversaries and SMS marketing as a part of the loyalty program.

Graphic art services helped to enhance the message we were distributing through online channels, this really came in handy for making changes to ads as they were needed, for example we could alter our message if we sold out of a stocked item early on in a campaign.

We have been working with Alan Zamparutti for many, many years, even before he started SMP and don’t intend to stop.  SMP are definitely a long term strategic partner when it comes to our digital advertising and marketing efforts.

They’ve taken the time to understand our business, industry and target market. We have monthly meetings that keep us up to date with our digital results and we work together to identify market trends and opportunities.

Hairfree Centre Mackay

SMP has helped both of my Hairfee Centre stores since we opened.  They provide a yearly plan based on the different seasons and in doing so allow us to keep to our budget across radio, television and newspaper, whilst getting the best result each month.  SMP has printed our flyers and business cards and can have the Townsville stock delivered directly to the store which saves me time and money.  I feel I can ask advice and get an independent answer, so I know where I stand with my advertising.  SMP takes the guess work out of it.

We have been dealing with Strategic Media Partners since before opening our 24 hour store on Bridge Road in November 2013.  SMP co-ordinate our television advertising and we continuously find that our weekly price and product specials are very popular with our customers – they do come in for the weekly specials after seeing our ads on television.  TV advertising is important for both our stores, and by dealing with SMP we know our ads are placed in great programs with the biggest audience numbers which is exactly where we need to be seen.
